A Random Act Of Kindness

  1. I have met the most amazing people since opening my shop but i just wanted to share with you all a wonderful moment in my day...
This morning after opening late 2 young women were the first customers of my day, they were friendly and brought some of my soaps, one of them was a young mum whose daughter had come into my shop on the weekend with her friends and so she came in this morning for a look. You know you hear about people doing random acts of kindness but i have never in my life experienced anything like this... A short while later the same young women came back into my shop and handed me a card... she told me she never did anything like this before, i asked if i should open it and she said if you want, inside was a cheque for $200 the card reads....

To Julie, i was moved when you told me about your break-in and your oils being smashed. I would like for you to have this towards some new oils, kind regards Sarah...

I was so moved i couldn't speak, all i could do was give her a hug and ask her to call in for a coffee whenever she has the time...  this kind, generous, caring young women whom i had never met before showed me that when you are at your worst point a random act of kindness from a complete stranger can lift you up and move you to tears... So to Sarah a huge heart felt thank you... you are an such an amazing women, this moment in time will be remembered and cherished by me and my daughter for the longest time...and if you are reading this please call in for a coffee whenever you can...you are always welcome...

Well it's been a few months since i have had a chance to post any of my soaps....
I opened a shop at Lynden Court in Chartwell, Hamilton just a few days before Christmas so ever since it's been full on...
Since i opened i have met so many wonderful people and have a chance to share with them some of my creations...
But it hasn't been as i had imagined it would be, a few weeks back my camera got stolen when my shop was burgled so i am back to using my old crappy camera till my new camera arrives so the quality of my pics are not as good as they were...
But anyway here a few of the soaps that i have made... i have so many more soaps that i still have to take photos of but will hopefully be sharing them with you all soon...Bye for now...

It's that crazy Christmas time again

So it begins... the crazy Christmas rush.
I had a fantastic day today Lucky Break Magazine published an article about me in this weeks issue, i was really happy with the way it was written and they took some great photos of my soaps so a big thank you to Kristina from Lucky Break..

Also I'd like to say a huge thank you to my wonderful and supportive friend Kayla, over the last few weeks she has been amazing... without her help i wouldn't have been able to achieve all that i do, she has been there constantly, helping me with every aspect of the soap process, right down to packing and wrapping..
Her help has truly been invaluable...

These are just a few of my latest soaps thought you may like to see a few more pics...

I have now cut up my cheesecakes they turned out so much better than i could have hoped for, the chocolate cake smells amazing and looks so edible, this has to be one of my favorite soaps i have ever made, it makes me hungry smelling it, probably because i am a huge choc addict...

Well enjoy the pics, bye for now...
