Felt Play Food Tea Time Cakes (my latest editions)

These are my latest editions of my felt playfoods. i have been sewing every chance i get so that i will have plenty of items to sell at my next market.
My next market is on May 1st it is the Cambridge Craft Carnival, held in the main street between 10-2pm. We have had some really crappy weather lately that has kept the people away from the last few markets i have had a stall at, so i am hoping that this weekend the weather will be lovely and the rain will stay away on the day.

These are my latest soap creations, i have a market stall in Cambridge this weekend on Sunday the 10th April and a market at stall at Tamahere on Saturday the 16th April  so i have plenty of soaps to suit everyones tastes.

These are my latest felt creations, i have been so busy trying to get these all finished for my market stall this weekend, and i have loads more items still to finish.
I know the gingerbread man is missing a face i realised only when i was taking the photo.
Well i better get back to the sewing as each item can take up to 3 hours to hand sew.

Time for Tea Soap Delights

I Have had a wonderful time lately making soap, i just love making them, my house is filled with the most delicious scents.
I brought some more lovely scents recently my favourite was the lemon as soon as i smelled it i knew i was destined to make a lemon meringue pie, the base is a yummy sweet caramel and the filling is the beautiful lemon scent the topping is unscented the sweetness of the caramel, and the tartness of the lemon makes it smell so delicious makes you want to eat it, i was so pleased with the way it turned out it looks and smells like the real thing...
I also made some lovely cupcakes i got a little carried away making so many, but they are my most popular seller so it wont matter to much, i made them in a variety of scents caramel, pina colada, lemon, vanilla, ripe raspberries, juicy peach, apricot, bubblegum and chocolate, i made them in a rainbow of colours to suit all tastes, they were so much fun to pipe and will be a hit at my next market.
I tried my hand at layered soaps made to look like cake slices, i drizzled most of them with chocolate soap to make them look like they had melted chocolate on top, i made chocolate raspberry and vanilla (my Fav)
peppermint and chocolate fudge (reminds me of after dinner mint) chocolate, caramel and vanilla smells just like a bar of caramello chocolate YUM, and a coconut ice.
I made meringues with sprinkles and glitter and mini cupcakes too.
In the next few weeks my chocolate fudge cheesecake and strawberry tart soaps will be ready i cant wait to see how thy turn out.
To my family who have been my best guinea pigs more soap will be heading your way really soon...

Felt playfoods, Felt Cakes and Felt Summer Treats.

I've had a busy time sewing to get more felt play foods ready for my next market, this time i made foods that reminded me of summer, ice cream slices between crunchy pink wafers and a chocolate wafer one too,colourful ice blocks and a chocobar.
Then i made a plate of felt cakes, a cream horn, chocolate eclair,sponge roll slice, and brandy snaps.

I have also been busy baking today and making a few batches of soap.

My daughter wanted real baking so i made vanilla cupcakes with butter cream frosting sprinkles and m&ms, and a self saucing chocolate pudding for dessert tonight yummy!!!
